Prior to her leukeia diagnosis, Chris had known Norma for some time, and even created a GoFundMe page to help pay for her medical expenses.
But when he found out she wouldn’t be able to live alone in her home, Chris reached out in an unlikely act of kindness: inviting Norma to live in his home under his round-the-clock care.
Now, under Chris’ supervision, Norma’s health is exceeding the expectations of healthcare professionals and has survived past the holidays.
