On May 31st 2017, Katie Hawley came home to find the place ransacked. Fearing she may have been robbed, she called the local police in Vail, Colorado.

After the police arrived on the scene, they determined that the break in must have been an animal. They asked to look at surveillance footage and that is when everyone saw the bear.

In the video, it can be seen looking out a glass door before trying out the piano. It stood there a while listening to the wonderful music it made or maybe just enjoying the view before wandering off.

It left with some food from the freezer and didn’t cause and serious harm.

Police officers believe the bear broke into the home via an open window.
